Ingredients

At SO+CA we only produce products that we absolutely love and are proud to use in our own homes.
​
The wax that we use for our candles is a natural and renewable soy wax blend produced from American grown soybeans.
​
We infuse our wax with a marriage of essential oils and certified clean fragrance.
​
SO+CA candles contain none of the bad stuff.

Candle Maintenance
Create a 'burn memory.' Always allow melted wax to reach the sides of the vessel for the first burn. Depending on candle diameter this can take several hours, try to allow at least 3 hours. This allows the candle to create a 'burn memory,' which will help prevent your candle from tunneling and creates and even burn ensuring you get the maximum burn time out of your candle.
Trim the wick to 1/4" before relighting each time. This is very important as it will reduce any smoke and "mushrooming" of the wick encouraging a longer burn time.
Candle Safety

Candles can be a serious fire hazard if not used properly. The following tips will help minimize your risk when burning candles in your home.

NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.

ALWAYS place candles on an even surface.

BURN AWAY from household items that can catch fire (i.e. bedding, curtains, decorations, and clothing).

KEEP burning candles in a well ventilated area and out of reach of children and pets.

FOLLOW the burning instructions on the caution sticker on your candle.

TRIM, TRIM, TRIM your wick! Did we say trim your wick? Just checking.

Time To Make the Candles​​
All candles are made to order and are processed within 3-5 business days. You will receive email notification when your order has been processed and is on its way.
Shipping
Orders are shipped via USPS. We currently only ship within the continental U.S. Orders over $99 ship free!
*If you are local to the Charleston area we offer free delivery to zip codes 29429, 29464, 29466. If you prefer, we can also arrange porch pick up in North Mount Pleasant.
Returns + Exchanges
Because of the nature of the items, all sales are final. We will gladly replace any damaged or broken item received.
If you should need to report a broken or damaged item, please email hello@soplusca.com with defective photos within 3 days of receiving. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen order/packages.
